Luke 4:18-19 says, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon ME, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the recovery of sight to the blind,
to set at liberty those who are oppressed,(vs.19) to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."

Notice that Jesus was anointed to say things and do things. Jesus was anointed to preach and proclaim to heal and to set at liberty.
Jesus said, He only said what He heard the Father say and only did what He saw Him do. What is the Spirit upon you and me to say and to do?
I heard a preacher not long ago say this, "The Spirit is in me for my sake, but He is upon me for yours." We are the body of Messiah and we are anointed as well.
We are not anointed to be a little "Messiah" but we are anointed for our assignment. We are anointed to fix the situations we are sent into by Him!
We are anointed to say what we hear Him say, and to do what we see Him do.

Business men and women are by nature visionary. They see needs, that others do not, and they try to find a way to meet that need.
They may develop a product, or a service, or both in order to try to meet the need. They are never apologetic, or ashamed of their products or services.
They advertise with boldness the benefits that we will receive by using their products or services, and they operate from a confidence about who they are and what they have to offer.
So what does that have to do with us?

We will take back the religous vote rightfully

Like business men and women, we have something to offer this world. We walk with God and we are empowered by Him to accomplish His will in this earth.
So should business people be more confident in their promotion of their new vacuum cleaner than we are promoting the kingdom of God?
Obviously not and yet we do struggle don't we.

Our confidence is in God and His goodness. Our confidence is not in our call, but in the One who called.
Who am I in Christ? I am His beloved, and His instrument to bring solutions to the pain and bondage's of lives of those around me.
I am not hear to try to fix everything, just the things I am anointed for. Jesus stood up in the synagogue and read from Isaiah 61 the things
He was anointed for.
Maybe it is time for us to declare to the world without fear, that what they need we have,
and then demonstrate the power of our products to provide solutions to their need.

I believe when we walk into the room their help walks in with us. He is in me for my sake but He is upon me for theirs.
Therefore my confidence is in WHO is with me, and His ability to meet the need of the situations I was sent into.
To bring solutions to their need is the reason, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me..."
